This shredder seems to shred okay but I haven't had it long enough to experience the problems some other reviewers had. The basket fills up too quickly and it's impossible to empty the basket without spilling shredded paper around. And you can't put a plastic bag in it because then the basket doesn't close and the machine doesn't work.
