Purchase 16GB SDHC Class 6 SD Memory Card 16 GB GIG

I run a Canon G9 12MP digital camera. Recently bought one of these 16GB cards @ Fry's since they had a special running for about $40. Thus far it appears to work up to specs. Haven't had any issues. This card stores a ton of photos without having to swap out, even on the highest settings. I don't honestly know if I could tell the difference between a Class 6 and a Class 4 card. Perhaps the G9 doesn't markedly differ in performance between the two. However, when I get a new HD camcorder, it might be easier to tell a difference, especially in any kind of a burst/bracketing mode (taking multiple photos in a short time period)?

In any event, my needs are more than met. I haven't had it long enough to comment on overall durability or error rates. But considering I've had it for several months and not even managed to fill it up once (granted I'm not a heavy-duty shooter), I figure it should have a pretty good lifetime. My guess would be longer than the typical upgrade / replacement cycle as newer cards come out (higher capacity, lower price).Get more detail about 16GB SDHC Class 6 SD Memory Card 16 GB GIG.
